Colleen is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor through Yoga Alliance, with over two decades of personal practice. She trained with Om Studios in Monterey, California.

Through Redwood & Reef, Colleen offers gentle, accessible yoga experiences that help students reconnect with their bodies, breath, and inner awareness. Each session weaves together mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, and elements of yoga philosophy to support physical ease and mental clarity. The hope is through this practice, students can tap into their own inner wisdom and stability.

Carmel yoga classes are currently held in small groups or private sessions in studio or in a serene redwood setting. The coastal California Redwoods create an environment that naturally invites calm, presence, and restoration for students of all levels.

Colleen is also certified a practitioner of crystal singing bowls and enjoys intentionally blending instruments with natural sound to enhance the atmosphere of each session.

Sound baths with guided meditation are one of the most requested Redwood & Reef offerings. Colleen welcomes the opportunity to bring sound baths and sound journeys to private retreats and spas in the Monterey Carmel area. Bringing Redwood & Reef classes and services to corporate wellness retreats and hotels up and down the Monterey Coast are also part of her services.

Before becoming a yoga teacher, Colleen worked as a corporate communications professional and broadcast journalist. That background informs her grounded presence, thoughtful guidance, and ability to create a supportive space where students feel at ease and deeply held in their experience.
